We interrupt our Happy Chemical Challenge this week to bring awareness to World Health Day, and pause to remember that our health isn’t built on trends, shortcuts, or the latest social media craze.

It’s built on science.

For decades, research in exercise physiology, nutrition, and behavioral psychology has shown us what actually improves health and longevity:

✔ Regular strength training
✔ Consistent movement
✔ Nutrient-dense foods
✔ Quality sleep
✔ Stress management
✔ Community and connection

These aren’t fads. They’re fundamentals.

At Chris Keith Personal Training, everything we do is built on those fundamentals. Programs are designed around evidence-based training principles—things like progressive overload, recovery, and proper nutrition—because that’s what the research shows works.

The goal isn’t quick fixes.

The goal is durability.

Science tells us that small, consistent habits—repeated over time—improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles and bones, support brain chemistry, and help protect against chronic disease.

In other words, the basics work.

So this World Health Day, remember:
You don’t need the newest trend.
You need the right habits, practiced consistently.

Start where you are.
Move your body.
Fuel it well.
Stay curious about what the science teaches us.

Your health is worth the long game.
